Our projects span structures asset management to complete rail network design and construction, working across the UK, Europe, and the Middle East.

Your Role:
As a Senior Engineer, you will lead a team of graduates and engineers, providing technical leadership and mentoring. Your responsibilities will include:

 Leading the development of conceptual designs and producing engineering details per project requirements.
 Implementing design best practices and ensuring compliance with all relevant codes, standards, and client specifications.
 Managing projects and performing/reviewing engineering analyses.
 Mentoring and developing team members to reach their full potential.
 Identifying business development opportunities and supporting bids and tenders.

Key Qualifications:
 Chartered or near-Chartered Structural/Civil Engineer.
 Extensive experience in designing various structure types.
 Strong analytical skills and a solid understanding of engineering fundamentals and current design standards.
 Effective communication and liaison skills with design teams, clients, and contractors.
 Proven ability to lead, manage, and develop a technical team.
 Some travel abroad, event attendance, and conference presentations may be required.

Salary and Benefits:
 Salary: £45,000 to £55,000, depending on experience
 Annual Leave: 25 days + 8 Bank holidays
 Flexi-time: 40 hours week with very flexible hours subject to project
requirements. Standard core Hours 10am-3pm.
 Hybrid working: We all really value remote working so we only ask
applicants to commit to 2-3 days in our Derby office

Compensation and Benefits:
 Salary: £55,000 to £70,000, depending on experience
